 Hey! Eiichiro.

 Do you use perfume?

B: Yes, I do

A: What perfume do you use?

B: Abercrombie & Fitch

A: It is a good fragrance

Do you know why people started using perfume?

A: Of course, it is also that.

But, it is a medieval story.

The first story is Cleopatra

B:  Cleopatra was using perfume? That’s the first time I’ve heard that.

A:  To be precise, she had a concept similar to perfume.

B:  I see.

 What was she doing?

A:  Cleopatra didn’t always miss the smell of roses.

And, she was taking a rose bath every day.

In today’s money, she was using $2, 000 of roses every day.

B: Was she using so much money on perfume?

If I have $2,000, I would eat delicious food.

Episode 021 - Are you a fan of Japan's international soccer team?

Transcript

R: My name is Rikiya and this is Kanata.  This is KSU Student Podcast.  Today we're going to talk about Japan’s international soccer team. How’s your school life?

K: I'm not accustomed to it yet.

R: What club do you belong to?

K: I don't belong to a club.

R: That's bad. I belong to tennis circle. You should join a circle.

K: OK,I will consider it. Can you tell me your recommended circle?

R: uh,I can't answer just now. So I will do some research about it.
By the way, do you like soccer?

K: I'm not good at soccer, but I often watch game of Japan’s international team on TV.

R: Oh, that's great. I really get along with you.  Hey, Kanata do you know who the supervisor of the team is?

K: That's right. It's Halilhozic, but I only know the name.

R: Halilhozic was born in 1952 on May 12 in Herzegovina, Bosnia. He is sixty-three years old. He has been trusted as the supervisor of various country’s teams and French league but now he takes care of the Japanese team. His position was FW and he was a top of scorer, ranking in the French league twice when he was player. His motto is “rule, regulation and practice.”

K: I didn't know that.

R: What do you think about this team?

K: I think that core members of this team, like Kagawa and Honda, should rush more into the opposing teams field and they will be able to seize a chance by assisting a penalty kick easily. They seem to be competent players. Ace players in the world like Messi and Neymar have already played. We can confidently trust Yoshida and Kawashima with defense.

R: You're absolutely right. I think so too. Who is your favorite player?

K: My favorite player is Kiyotake because I am relying on his skill and ability. And you?

R: My favorite player is Kagawa because I have great expectations for him as a number 10 on the team.

K: That's good.

R: What should they do from now on?

K: I think they should train young players.

R: I think so too.  I think that's all for today. Thanks for listening to KSU student Podcast.
We hope you have learned something new.

Episode 010 - Long Lost Secrets of Doraemon's Tools

Transcript

A: My name is Yuto and this is Shogo. How have you been recently?
B: I'm fine. How about you.A: I'm fine too.
B: Today we are going to talk about "DORAEMON". Hey, Yuto. Did you know comic writer who drew "DORAEMON"?
A: I don't know. Who?
B: It's "Fujiko, F, Fujio". He is very famous in japan and drew many comics.
A: That's great. What comic did he draw?
B: For example,.....
A: I know these comics. I used to watch "Kiteretsu daihyakka"(キテレツ大百科) on TV when I was elementary school student. I think that there are no person who don't know these comics.
B: I see. By the way, if you can get a tool which appear in an animated cartoon, what do you have your choice?
A: If I get a DORAEMON's tool, I want to get a "DOKODEMO door"(どこでもドア).I will use the door to go to tourist spot in the world. For example, I want to go Egypt. Because I want to watch Pyramid and Sphinx. In addition, I want to go to Disneyland. I haven't ever been there. I think that I warp toilet in Disney land with a DOKODEMO door. I don't have to spend money to enter Disneyland!
B: Oh. You are bad. You should pay money to enter. I want to go to Egypt too! Incidentally, I think "TAKEKOPUTAA"(タケコプター)such as a small propeller plane is attractive tool. We can fly only put TAKEKOPUTAA on our head. YOU don't need brake, accelerator, even the preparatory time. Moreover it doesn't make a noise! Because as soos as rotate the propeller, your body come up to the surface. Honestly itis not sound realistic. Such as a small tool cannot make human fly. Also, there is a danger of burden on the neck. This is a problem which should be improved. Anyway, TAKEKOPUTAA give me a sense of the romance. When I was a child, I wished to get it somehow.
A: I really understand your feelings. Everybody hopes to fly like a bird.
As we have explained, DORAEMON was our admiration and even now, it remains just the same as before.
B: As time lacking for a full explanation, We will talk it another time.
Thank you for listening!

Episode 003 - Soccer Chat: FC Barcelona rules the pitch!

Transcript

Kenji: Hello and welcome to the KSU student podcast.
My name is Kenji and this is Reo.

Reo: From now, we will talk about FC Barcelona in this episode.
     Please listen to our talking.

Kenji: Hello Reo.
       How are you doing?

Reo: Hello Kenji.
I'm tired, because I'm very busy recently.
     For example, studying and working.
     How are you doing?

Kenji: Yeah, very good!
Because it was decided that I could go to Yokohama to see an FC Barcelona game in December.

Reo: Really?
     It's good news for you.
     But sorry...
I don't know very much about soccer.
FC Barcelona is the team to which Lionel Messi belongs, isn't it?

Kenji: Yes, it is.
I think that he is the most famous soccer player in the world.

Reo: I think so too.
     I feel so energetic.
It's enviable that you can see him for me.

Kenji: But, there are two pieces of bad news for me.

Reo: What are they?

Kenji: The first news is that Messi was injured last month.
He will be out for two months.
If medical treatment proceed as scheduled, he would be in time for the December game.

Reo: Oh, Good for you.

Kenji: The other news is that Messi and his father must stand trial for tax fraud charges.

Reo: Wow, are you sure?

Kenji: Yes.
But, they insist on their innocence.

Reo: I believe that they are innocent, too.
But, if they are guilty, what will happen?

Kenji: If that's true, Messi can't participate in games for one year.

Reo: One year?
     Oh, That's serious.
I hope that you can see him in December.

Kenji: Thank you.

Reo: Not only he, but many good players belong to FC Barcelona, don’t they?

Kenji: Yeah, of course.

Reo: Especially among them, who is your favorite player?

Kenji: Well...
My favorite player is Luis Suarez.

Reo: Oh, I don't know him.
Would you tell me about him?

Kenji: OK!
Suarez is one of the best strikers in the world.
       But, he is very crazy.

Reo: Why?

Kenji: He sometimes bites players of opposing team during the game.

Reo: He bites them?
     That's interesting!

Kenji: I'm looking forward to being able to see his play.
I can hardly wait for December!

Reo: Who are you going with?

Kenji: Yeah, I'm going to go with my friend.
I often play soccer with him.

Reo: Oh, sounds good!

Kenji: There are a lot of fans of FC Barcelona in Japan.
I think that a lot of people will come to see the game on the day.

Reo: I think so too.
Please get an FC Barcelona’s player's autograph, if possible.

Kenji: Hmm...
       That's very difficult.
But, I will buy it, if you want a souvenir.

Reo: Oh, Thank you!
     I want it!
I hope that watching the soccer match will become a lifelong memory for you.

Kenji: Thank you!

Reo: You're welcome.

Kenji: Well, I think is all for today’s podcast. I hope you learned something new today.

Reo: Thanks for listening.
